FISHKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is returning this spring, set to run from March 20 to April 2. Spanning across nine counties, over 140 restaurants are participating. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! Produced each spring and fall by "Valley Table Magazine," participating restaurants offer prix fixe lunches and dinners for $24.95, $29.95, $39.95, or $44.95. CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police are searching for a missing teenager. Jasiri Danjou was last seen around 8 a.m. on Friday, March 17 on Verbeck Lane in Clifton Park. JEFFERSON CITY — Many employers are having a tough time filling jobs. The Missouri Department of Labor is seeing an increase in workers between the ages of 14 to 18. They say these workers are helping fill the gap left by adults.The number of work certifications for 14 and 15-year-olds increase by 45 percent from 2021 to 2022. During that same time period that saw the number of complaints related to youth employment increase by 250 percent. Actor Lance Reddick, perhaps best known for his role on "The Wire," has died at the age of 60, a representative confirmed to KTLA.Reddick's body was found in Studio City about 9:30 a.m. Friday, according to TMZ. 39-Year-Old Man Struck by Multiple Vehicles near Sonoma BoulevardVALLEJO, CA (March 17, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, a pedestrian collision on Highway 80 claimed the life of Rafael Devera.The incident happened on March 9th, at around 4:00 a.m., on the eastbound lanes of the highway near Sonoma Boulevard.According to reports, Devera attempted to cross Highway 80, in the area near Carquinez Bridge toll Plaza, when he was struck by multiple vehicles. The impact of multiple collisions left him with serious injuries.Officials later pronounced 39-year-old Rafael Devera dead due to the extent of his injuries.Following the crash, crews close down the lanes surrounding the accident for an hour while they performed cleanup and preliminary duties.At this time, no further details regarding the pedestrian accident are available. MARTINEZ — Months after a judge overturned the murder convictions of two East Contra Costa men, citing the prosecution’s violations of the new Racial Justice Act, both defendants have been re-sentenced to 17 years in state prison through plea deals.Gary Bryant Jr. and Diallo Jackson had both originally been sentenced to life in prison without a chance of parole for decades, after being convicted in 2017 of murder and gang enhancements in the shooting death of 23-year-old Pittsburg resident Kenneth Wayne Cooper. Both men pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter in exchange for the new sentences, according to court records.The new plea deals were finalized in late January and Jackson and Bryant were subsequently re-sentenced to state prison.
