NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nashville community is stepping up to throw the ultimate prom for a Nashville Christian School student who was reportedly not allowed to attend their senior prom for choosing to wear a suit instead of a dress."It was brave of them to make the sign and stand out in the front of their prom and it was powerful," Nashville business owner Derek Van Mol explained.The post by Nashville Christian School senior B Hayes on Instagram showed the student in a black suit holding a sign that said, "They wouldn't let me in because I'm in a suit." ST. LOUIS - One man is behind bars after reports of attempted rape at two St. Louis Metrolink stations earlier this month. Dartarius Gibson, 37, is charged with three felonies in the investigation, including two counts of rape/attempted rape and one count of sodomy/attempted sodomy. ROLLA, Mo. - A Rolla woman is behind bars on felony charges as police investigate a toddler's death from earlier this week. Prosecutors have charged Emily Buell, 33, with involuntary manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a child and abuse or neglect of a child (resulting in death). A man was shot and wounded by detectives from the Placentia Police Department at the end of a pursuit in Fullerton Tuesday evening.The detectives were in the 3300 block of East Yorba Linda Boulevard to take into custody a man connected to a stalking investigation, the department said in a news release. When the detectives tried to contact the man a few minutes before 6 p.m., at least one PPD member opened fire.Police did not detail what prompted the shooting, whether the man was armed, how many detectives fired their weapons or how many times the man was shot, but they did confirm that he was taken to a local hospital.
