ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Thursday, a former dental technician was sentenced to a year of probation for stealing government property. He admitted to stealing precious metals and noble alloys intended to be recycled and used to manufacture crowns, bridges, and dental prostheses. ST. LOUIS -- A Ferguson man is facing over a decade in prison for a 2020 gas sttaion robbery. Harvey Cameron, 33, has been sentenced to prison for the armed robbery of a St. Louis 7-Eleven.The robbery occurred at 5350 Chippewa Street on June 21, 2020. During the incident, one of the men involved brandished a Zastava, AK-47-style rifle, demanding cash from the store employee. Both individuals were apprehended shortly after the robbery, and they were found with the stolen cash and the firearm. Florida kidnapping victims rescued from downtown St. Louis hotel Cameron pleaded guilty in July to robbery, possession and brandishing of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. FULTON, Mo. -- Police recently made an arrest in the 2002 killing of Debra Dickens. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office says that a grand jury indicted Harold Dickens on murder charges."The Callaway County Sheriff's Office would like to acknowledge the determination of our investigators, both past and present, the diligent work of the grand jury, and the efforts of all involved in this case," police state on Facebook.Debra and Harold were married before she was brutally killed. The Woodland Park School District has removed and replaced a school board policy that the local teachers union called unconstitutional because it prohibited educators from speaking to the press or posting on social media about district decisions without consent, the Woodland Park Education Association announced this week. The teachers union sued the district and its Board of Education in federal court over the summer, alleging employees’ First Amendment rights were violated by the policy.
